"My garden is my most beautiful masterpiece."

   - Claude Monet

The Friends typically hold one or more fundraising events each year in an attempt to fulfill our mission of contributing financially to the maintenance of the Gardens and Corbin Arts Center.

Our most popular and ongoing event is our Traditional English Tea held on a weekend day close to Mother's Day. Typically this event is sold out with a waiting list. Families, friends, singles and couples come to the Tea, many clad in hats and gloves to be served tea and the traditional accompaniment of scones, sweets and savories on fine linen and china. Garden tours are also a part of this festive May event to celebrate the opening of the Gardens for the summer season.

Due to the Pandemic, the Tea will be cancelled for 2021, but The FMTG is hopeful for an event to be held in the Fall. Keep your eye on this webpage and FOLLOW us on Facebook for future plans.

Volunteers are needed and welcomed for our fundraising events. If you are interested in volunteering when our events resume, please refer to the Volunteer page.
